During my recent visit to Galle Fort, my partner and I had the pleasure of staying at Seagreen Guesthouse for a night, and it truly is a delightful spot for those considering both comfort and value. The guesthouse offers spacious rooms complete with en-suite bathrooms, featuring excellent rain showers-a small luxury that adds to the experience. With individual air conditioning and a fan, we were comfortably cool throughout our stay. The rooftop balcony provided stunning views over the ramparts, making it a perfect spot to unwind as the sun set. Although the water pressure in the shower could be improved, it didn't significantly detract from our experience. The nearby first-floor seating area, equipped with a small bookcase, was a charming touch for relaxation. Located just a few minutes away from the bustling tourist district, it's easy to interact with locals and explore authentic experiences. This balance of amenities and proximity makes it a wise choice for travelers wanting a cozy yet affordable retreat. I'd certainly recommend considering Seagreen for a future stay in Galle.
